This Saturday, August 17th, we’re excited to bring you the SoMont/Philly Wiss-produced Local Dirt race at our very own Twining Valley Park (TVP)! It’s going to be a thrilling day filled with speed, excitement, and some seriously fun mountain biking action! 🎉
Race Day Details:
- Date: Saturday, August 17th
- Location: Twining Valley Park
- Student Athlete Registration Deadline: 🗓️ Thursday, August 15th at NOON
Event Schedule:
- 8:00 AM: Pre-ride opens 🚴♂️
- 8:45 AM: Pre-ride closes - All team HC/TD meeting 📣
- 9:00 AM: Races begin! 🏁
Race Categories:
- High School Girls:
- 9:00 AM – 3 laps (2.2 miles each)
- Middle School Girls:
- 9:45 AM – 2 laps (2 miles) including a 1 Lap Fun Lap 🏆
- Middle School Boys:
- 10:30 AM – 2 laps (2 miles) including a 1 Lap Fun Lap 🏆
- High School Boys:
- 11:30 AM – 3 laps (2.2 miles each)
Competing Teams:
Invited teams include SoMont, Philly Wiss, Phoenixville, Lower Bucks, Bucks Composite, Lower Merion, TE, and possibly BCYC. Get ready for some friendly competition! 🥇
